My pleasure (makes about 20 meatballs, serves 4-5):

  • Mozzarella
  • Minced beef, 300 g
  • Italian sausage, 200 g
  • Garlic, 1 clove
  • Salt (to taste), 0.5 tsp
  • Black pepper, 1 tsp
  • Bread crumbs, 1 cup/125 g
  • Egg, 1
  • Parsley (to taste), 3 to 4 stalks
  • Milk, 1/4 cup/60 ml
  • Tomato sauce, 1 bottle
  • Crushed red pepper/Chilli flakes, to taste

Pasta (optional):
Cook the pasta until tender-firm, also known as al dente.

Meatballs:
Cut sausages, parsley and garlic into small pieces. Mince and mix well.

Add remaining ingredients (except mozzarella). Mix well.

Roll the meat mixture into balls and stuff mozzarella in.

Pour tomato sauce as base, place meatballs and cover with more tomato sauce.

Cook/Simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. (May need to stir occasionally to avoid getting the meatballs burnt depending on cookware and cooking method. )

Add pasta, if desired.
